2003 Mutiny National Rally

The 4th round of the ANCRO National Rally Series took competitors to Llandrindod Wells for 12 forest stages in Mid-Wales. Roger Duckworth & Mark Broomfield were declared the winners of the Midland Motor Club/Ludlow Castle Motor Club event in their Subaru Impreza WRC. Vauxhall Motoring Group (Wirral) organised this, the second round of the 2003 Kumho National Rally Championship. Victory went to Andrew Burton & John Roberts (Peugeot Cosworth) while the Subaru Imprezas of Bob Ceen/Alistair Douglas (16) and Raymond Munro/Neil Ewing (8) completed the podium places.

2003 Astra Stages Clubman Rally

Utilising the same six stages as the Historic events the Clubman Rally was won by Alistair and Andrew Adams in their Ford Escort Mk2 (109). Completing the podium were Ieuan Rowland/Andy Davies (Escort Mk2 – car 103) and Allan McDowall/Gavin Heseltine (Opel Kadett – car 110)

2001 Bulldog Clubmans Rally

Ieuan Rowlands & Keith Davis claimed the victory in their Ford Escort Mk2 but only thanks to the tie break rule after their time was matched by the Escort Cosworth of Stuart Cheape & Phil Sant. A high rate of attrition saw only 13 of the 25 starters make the finish. The rally was contested over the opening four stages of the National event.

Marcus Dodd & John Bennie took top honours in their Subaru Impreza WRC finishing over half a minute ahead of the similar car of Stephen Finlay & Rory Kennedy. The Shrewsbury based event had an eight stage schedule in the Mid-Wales forests that included those classic tests in the Dyfi Forest complex.
