A trio of Land Rover Wolf Defenders contested this event that followed the six stage order of the Historic Cup Rally with Jack Bean and Patrick Amey heading the field home after overhauling the early leaders Danny Hedges & Ashley Wilcock. Benjamin Hall and Tyler Colderley completed the order.

2022 Trackrod Land Rover Challenge

Thirteen crews tackled the Trackrod Land Rover Challenge that ran as part of the Trackrod Historic Cup. By the finish of the 56 miles of competition spread over six special stages top honours went to Jamie Thwaites and Chris Cuming in their Land Rover Bowler Defender 90. 2022 RSAC Scottish Rally

A round of the KNC Groundworks Scottish Rally Championship, HRCR Northern Historic Gravel Rally Championship and the Army Land Rover Challenge, victory went to Michael Binnie & Claire Mole in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo9. Based in Dumfries & Galloway for a 25th year, the town of Moffat played host to the 2022 event that featured 42 stage miles spread over six special stages.

2021 Trackrod Historic Cup & Land Rover Challenge

Nick Elliott & Dave Price took overall honours in their Category 3 Class D5 Ford Escort Mk2 finishing 12.9 seconds ahead of the similar car of Roger Chilman & David Iwan Jones. The rally, a round of the Fuchs British Historic Rally Championship,was contested over six stages in the North Yorkshire Moors Forests. The Land Rover Challenge followed the same route and was won by Barry Connolly & Philip Cook in a Land Rover 90 Wolf XD.

Steve Bannister completed a hat-trick of Trackrod Historic Cup victories in his Ford Escort Mk2. Co-driven by Callum Atkinson, Bannister finished 16 seconds ahead of the Ford Escort RS1800 of Jason Pritchard & Phil Clarke who won the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship for a third successive year.
